We bring music to life
We view musical instruments not merely as objects, but as vessels of history, emotion, and sound. To us, they become individuals. Their shapes, materials, and sonic traces tell stories—and that is precisely where our work begins.
As a digital creative who transforms instrumental objects—cellos, double basses, violins, trumpets, pianos, and many others—I grew up in a musical household where sounds that were dissonant rather than pleasing were part of everyday life. This early, close encounter with the musical avant-garde shaped my perspective. I have an affinity for the surreal, the expressionistic, and the unexpected flow. Perhaps this explains why, to this day, I am interested in musical instruments not just as sound-producing bodies, but as distinct characters and personalities. In our photomontages, we combine real musical instruments with unusual associations to create new visual worlds.
We take them out of their familiar context, stage them anew, and develop motifs with a distinct visual language. This language also addresses contemporary social issues—sometimes poetically, sometimes surprisingly, sometimes humorously—but always with the aim of visualizing an idea in a lighthearted or even ironic way.
Our imagery is aimed at anyone who gives visible expression to music and culture: music labels, festivals, opera houses, and concert halls, as well as regional and national cultural organizers, magazines, agencies, and artists.
They can be used for concert and opera programs, brochures, posters, campaigns, record and CD covers, as well as for social media and other digital applications.
We do not view our work simply as finished photographs, but rather as visual ideas—ideas capable of giving an event a face, drawing attention to a publication, or lending a unique visual identity to a campaign.
Music becomes a motif.
