    What does a cello do…

…when it no longer wants to be a cello?

From October 2, 2026, my Visual Acoustics Lab leaves the screen and enters a physical space.

Until October 11, I will present my work at Kellereistraße 10a, Neustadt an der Weinstraße, together with six other artists.

Cellos, violins, double basses, trumpets, and pianos are released from their familiar purpose. They fly, encounter one another, become doorways or figures, and tell stories of solitude, longing, new beginnings, and freedom.

A special day will be Sunday, October 4, 2026. During the 3rd Rhineland-Palatinate Experience Sunday, the exhibition also becomes acoustic: from 1 PM to 6 PM, Quartetto Mirtillo will accompany the artists’ salon with classical music and excursions into tango, swing, and folk.

    Exhibition: October 2–11, 2026
Location: Kellereistraße 10a, Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany
Experience Sunday: October 4, 1–6 PM

    When Music Becomes Visible

    My Website Is Online

What happens when acoustic thinking becomes visual?

Since October 1, 2026, this question has a new home: my new website, Bojan Basson – Visual Acoustics Lab, is online.

Here, musical instruments become personalities. Cellos can fly, a piano can open new spaces, instruments meet, fall in love, or tell stories of solitude, longing and freedom.

Explore the Giants of the Sky, Loneliness & Longing and Tender Harmonies – Closeness & Emotions, alongside works connecting music, architecture, nature, photography and surrealism.

To discover where these visual worlds come from, visit About the Artist and step further into the Visual Acoustics Lab.

Enjoy exploring — and perhaps taking a second look.

And the images are already leaving the screen:
From October 2 to October 11, 2026, works from the Visual Acoustics Lab will be exhibited at Kellereistraße 10a in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany.
